About Me

Hi and welcome to my blog. I am an Elementary Art Teacher who loves technology and tries to integrate Technology into the Art Room as much as possible. I have been teaching Elementary Art for the last 10 year and have always tried to stay on the leading edge of tech integration into the classroom. In 2013 I was nominated for Teacher of the Year by the Shawnee Mission School District (a large suburban district outside of Kansas City) and was a Regional Semi-Finalist (click here for full teacher portfolio). Then the next year I wrote a grant for iPads in the Arts. Ironically, the very next year our school became a 1:1 iPad school. Before last year however, our school was PC based, so I am proficient in both IOS and PC platforms. Currently at my school all of my students have iPads and I have an iPad and a MacBook with an AirPlay projector. I have started this blog as a part of a Google Tools Class but also hope to use this blog to share what I have learned on both IOS and PC platforms.
