Five things to keep in mind before making you adventure.
- This tool can only be used on a Mac or PC platform and NOT on a Mobil Device (no iPads). You can not create or view this on an iPad. If anyone finds that Google changes this let me know, because it would be awesome to let students explore tours on their own.
- You will need to install the Google Earth PlugIn, so make sure you are able to install on the computer you want to use
- You need a strong, fast internet connection because this is very graphics heavy.
- Because this is not available on mobil devices design your tour so that you can lead it, rather than it being self lead. My tour is designed to be self lead, but my students would not be able to use it on their iPads.
- If you are using Mac this is the one time it is better to use Safari than Chrome. For some reason the PlugIn needed will not work on Chrome for Mac.
