Getting your Photos Organized and Backed Up
Over the years I have collected literally hundreds of digital images as an art teacher. Images of famous art, of students art, pictures of students at work or proudly displaying their work. All of those images now total several hundred gigabytes of data spread over several different drives. I guess I am a bit of a digital pack rat. And like any horder I now have trouble finding the what I want when I need it. Fortunately for me I have now found a great tool that will seek out and find all of my images across all of my disks and drives, organize all the images and back them up on a google cloud. This magical tool is Picasa, and you guessed it, it's by Google. This tool also has some basic editing tools and a nice collage feature. Below is a sample of collage of Dale Chihuly's art and him making his art.
